Terms and Conditions

1. Our hotel is very much focused towards couples and family groups, which means we cannot, unfortunately, accept bookings from single sex groups.

2. Sadly, we cannot cater for pets.

3. Rates quoted are per room per night occupied by adults. Significant discounts are available for children below the age of 12 or for under-occupancy by adults of a larger room. For example, 2 people occupying a triple bedroom will not pay the normal room rate. Babies up to the age of 2 are free at all times. Please telephone Geoff or Maxine at the hotel to discuss any of these available discounts.

4. Online bookings require a deposit of 50% of the total cost. For example, a 3 night stay in a room costing £50 per night (amounting to a total of £150) would require a deposit of £75.

5. The balance of any money due shall be paid in full on arrival.

6. Deposits are fully refundable with 28 days notice.

7. Cancellations of less than 7 days notification means the deposit is lost and full payment of the specified rooms is required. For example, a reserved 3 night stay in a room costing £50 per night would lose the £75 deposit and require a further payment of £75. Similarly, we cannot refund any deposit made in the event of non-occupation.

8. When booking offline, by telephone for example, if a deposit for a room reservation is not received within 7 days of making such a booking, the reservation will be cancelled.

9. Payment can be made with all major debit and credit cards.

10. Car parking is available by prior request. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If parking in our car park, keys must be left at reception. The management cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused to any vehicle or its contents while in the car park.

11. Rooms are to be vacated by 10.00am. Rooms will be available for occupation from 11.00am. Luggage may be left in the bar area on the day of departure but must be collected by 4.00pm. The management can accept no responsibility for the loss of any personal belongings or monies left in the hotel rooms.

12. Meal times. Breakfast is served at 9.00am. We are happy to cater for many special dietary requirements, though this is by prior arrangement only.

13. The bar will usually close at 11.00pm but times may alter at the discretion of the management and it may close earlier or later subject to guest demand. However, in the interest of other guests, we reserve the right to refuse to serve alcohol to anyone deemed intoxicated.

14. Any entertainment (karaoke, disco etc.) will probably end at 11.30pm.

15. No food, take-away or alcohol is allowed in the hotel bedrooms. Alcohol, purchased from the hotel bar, may be consumed in the TV lounge.

16. Any act of vandalism or malicious damage to any part of the hotel, and/or noise likely to cause a disturbance to other guests, shall deem the contract null and void. Persons performing such acts will be asked to leave the hotel immediately. No refund will be available in such circumstances.
